What You Can Expect Strategy - Support the Team Lead of Procurement Subsurface in developing relevant category and sub-category procurement strategies, monitoring supplier markets, creating demand forecasts, analyzing expenditures, evaluating suppliers, identifying and leveraging value creation opportunities;
Procurement/Contract Award - Implement the activities defined in the respective category strategies, including agreeing on final specifications and setting commercial terms, defining critical performance factors, managing tender processes, evaluating bids, conducting final negotiations up to the contract award, and preparing standard contract templates for the respective categories that have a high impact on ensuring business continuity;
Project Procurement Coordinator for larger projects as part of the project organization, determining the project procurement strategy, coordinating between the project and procurement organization, supporting the project organization in finding solutions to procurement-related project issues, managing non-conformities.
BU Germany Coordination - Establishment of a clear and frequent purchasing presence of procurement in the operations, communication of procurement strategies within BU Germany;
Contract Management - Execution and administration of contracts, ensuring contract fulfillment and compliance with contract terms, contract modifications; handling disputes and claims;
Supplier Relationship Management - Management of supplier relationships; monitoring supplier performance, continuous improvement and/or supplier development, obtaining supplier feedback, reducing costs associated with poor quality and unproductive times (NPT), optimizing procurement processes.
What Our Customer Expects -Master's degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field of study (economics, engineering, law) or equivalent experience -At least 4 years of experience in a position as a strategic buyer (procurement/supply chain) or alternatively substantial experience in procurement and contract management Proactive team player; -Solution-oriented; self-motivated; accompanied by excellent communication and interpersonal skills Analytical and systematic approach to work Comprehensive knowledge/understanding of markets and categories in the subsurface area, including drilling rigs, decommissioning services, and OCTG, is advantageous Intercultural awareness (collaboration with stakeholders in various business areas) -Very good negotiation skills -Fluent in English -Commitment to the company's HSE policies and principles, responsible conduct, and compliance with the company's HSE and quality requirements
